Lunchbox friendly muesli bars

These muesli bars are packed with goodness & a little bit of naughty.  As they don’t contain nuts they are perfectly school lunchbox friendly muesli bars or a filling snack on the go.  They don’t get much easier than these to make and they are a little bit retro by using a tin of condensed milk!  3 minutes to make, 15 minutes to bake, 12 big bars.  Try them!

Ingredients

3 1/2 C rolled oats

1  C mixed seeds eg pepitas (pumpkin seeds), sunflower seeds, chia, linseed

1/2 C cranberries

400 g condensed milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees and line a lamington tin with baking paper
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl
  3. Tip mixture into lined tin and press down flat with the back of a spoon

4. Bake in oven for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden

5. Cool in tin and then cut into bars

  • 1/2 C cranberries
  • 400 g tin condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees and line a lamington tin with baking paper
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl
  3. Tip into the lined lamington tin and press flat with the back of a spoon
  4. Bake in oven for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden
  5. Cool in the tin and then cut into bars
