Let’s be real here who has time (or the inclination) to have a freshly baked goods ready every day?  Natural popcorn is a quick, gluten free and healthy wholegrain snack that is a source of dietary fibre (I sound like an ad don’t I!!).  Most kids love popcorn and I’m a bit partial to the old sea salt variety myself.  We have it at least once a week either in the lunchbox or after school and usually goes with the oranges at soccer!  Anyway a bit of popcorn and some fruit and send the kids off to fend for themselves.

It’s easy to make either air popped if you have a popper or in a little bit of oil.  You can also find healthy popcorn in the health food section in the supermarket or health food shops.  The flavoured and coloured popcorn not so good obviously.

Not much else to say on the matter really!
