Baked Parmesan or Vegemite Lavosh

These Baked Parmesan or Vegemite Lavosh are super easy to make (even before school if necessary) and lunch box winners too.  Do you remember them from back in the 90’s or is that showing my age?  My lovely friend Liv reminded me of these and are a lunch box favourite in her house, I tried them out on my girls and they are now favourites here too. I’ve seen them popping up in other friends lunch boxes too so I’m sharing the secret today so everybody can be in on it!

All you need is a tortilla, lavosh, pitta pocket or mountain bread it really doesn’t matter, a thin spread of butter, vegemite and/or parmesan or any hard cheese you like and bake in the oven at 180 C until it gets crispy (about 7 – 10 minutes). Cut or crack into shapes and then you’ve got a quick & easy cracker that goes down well on their own or with a dip like hummus and veggies sticks.

They will keep in an air tight container for about 4 days so you can make a batch up for the week!

    love the baked parmesan one! Don’t know that I can go the vegemite- last time I ate it is was pregnant with hyperemesis…..anything that reminds me of that is bad news! 😉 thanks for linking up at #whatkidseatwednesday
