Yoghurt with Cinnamon & Fruit

This is a good way of getting some protein and calcium into your breakfast without having to do eggs and the extra washing up!  Our eldest, Eloise, loves this for breakfast and, as she doesn’t seem to eat much else during the school day, it’s good to know that she has had a fairly filling and healthy start.  Use any fruit that suits you but I add bananas for energy, berries for the anti oxidants and vitamins, apples and a shake or two of cinnamon for blood sugar levels and supposedly the scent of cinnamon boosts brain function!  Who knew….it’s my favourite spice, not sure it’s working for me though!

I like to add a tablespoon of LSA to mine but Eloise can detect that a mile off.

Timesaving Tip:  As I’m usually chopping up fruit for the lunchboxes anyway I do it all at the same time.
