Baked Salmon & Veggies



A bottle of Ketjap Manis, salmon fillets, some veggies, 25 minutes in the oven and dinner is done!  You could do this with any fish you like really.

Ketjap Manis is an Indonesian sweet soy sauce so if you have problems with gluten you may want to check your bottle or swap it for Tamari sauce instead.

Baked Salmon & Veggies – quick & healthy dinner


  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 C Ketjap Manis
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped in to wedges or chip shape
  • 2 - 3 potatoes (depending on family size), chopped in to wedges or chip shape
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • Green veggies of your choice in the photo is broccoli and beans


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees & line 2 baking trays with baking paper
  2. Put potatoes and sweet potatoes on one baking tray and drizzle with olive oil and bake for 25 minutes, turning once or twice.
  3. Put salmon fillets on the other tray and drizzle with Ketjap Manis & put in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes depending on thickness of fillets
  4. Steam greens during the last 10 minutes of the cooking time.
