Classic Tuna Melt


Yesterday, out of nowhere, I had a craving for a Tuna Melt, no idea why but I couldn’t get it out of my head so when I got home I made this one.

Toast the bread, mash 1/2 an avocado and spread on the toast.  Crack open a can of tuna, drain it and put on top of the avocado, add thinly sliced cheese to top it off.  Whack it under the grill for about 1 minute or until the cheese has melted,  season to your taste and congratulate yourself on having a made a fairly decent snack in under 5 minutes.

I bet you want one now too, don’t you?

(Can be gluten free if you have GF bread)
