Cauliflower Mash


I’ve been making this so much lately I thought it deserved it’s own post! Cauliflower Mash, do you do it?  If you don’t, will you?  It’s my new favourite of the moment.  It’s very easy to make and so yummy.

All you need is:

1 cauliflower, roughly chopped

2 Tbsp olive oil

40 g butter

Pink Himalyan Rock Salt & cracked pepper

All you do is:

If you have a Thermomix put 500 mls water into the bowl and put the cauliflower into the steamer basket (if it will fit) or the Varoma then steam on Varoma /20 minutes / speed 1.

Drain the water and put the cauliflower in the bowl with the oil, butter, salt & pepper and blitz into a mash Speed 7 / 10 seconds

If you are doing it on the stove put the cauliflower and a bit of salt into a saucepan and bring to the boil then cook for about 15 minutes.

Drain and then put into a blender or food processor add the butter, oil, salt & pepper and blitz until smooth.

That’s it – yummo!
