Scrolling along to school – not long now!

There seems to be a lot of chat around me about scrolls being great for school lunch boxes.  Do you make them?  I’ve seen lots on social media lately and then was at a picnic on the weekend where a friend said that scrolls are the only thing that her daughter will eat from her lunch box so I thought I’d better jump on the band wagon and give them a go.  This photo is of my first attempt at them – small and well, not perfectly formed, but they tasted great and the girls gave them their tick of approval – phew!

I followed this recipe from Coles for my first attempt as it’s a quick one and I was racing off somewhere but only used tomato paste, ham & cheese for the fillings as I didn’t have everything and made some with cheese & Vegemite.  Both were delicious even if a bit dodgy looking (I’m blaming the gluten free flour I used!)

My blogging friend Lucy of Bake, Play Smile has this delicious recipe for the Ham & Cheese Scrolls in the Thermomix

The Organised Housewife has this recipe for these super easy Cheese & Vegemite scrolls that can be done before school if necessary they are that quick!

I don’t really know why I haven’t made them before but they are going to a lunch box regular now.

Do you scroll? What’s your favourite recipe?
