Your Weekly Feed #39

What’s for dinner? Here’s hoping that Your Weekly Feed can help with the answer to THAT question!  The heat up here has gone to a whole other level, even the locals are saying that so cooking really hasn’t been on the agenda for me this week (although I did make our French visitors my Anzac slice because you can’t come to Australia and not have an Anzac can you?).

I’m so glad though to have had all the dinner inspiration from last weeks link up. It all looks soooooo good. I love the look of My Kitchen Stories Slow Roasted Lamb Burritos, don’t you?  I think this calls for inviting some friends around for a meal….

I often order Pork Katsu when out for Japanese but have never made it at home, no reason not to now that Good Food Week has shared the how to!

For a super simple and tasty mid week meal I couldn’t go past The Annoyed Thyroids Maple Glazed Chicken.

To accompany any meal the Land of Zonkt has come up with one of my favourites a Sweet Potato & Crispy Noodle Salad. Yum, yum yum!

I’m going to pull a meal out of my archives this week to add into the link up (see below) because, as I said, it’s been too hot to get creative in the kitchen or any where else for that matter!  Even our builders are only doing inside with the air con on work at the moment!!

Anyway let’s pop over to see what Kim at Land of Zonkt has chosen for her picks this week and then over to you! Also don’t forget if you do make a meal found on Your Weekly Feed please #yourweeklyfeed on Instagram or FB or send us a pic, we’d love to see.

I feel you on the stifling heat, Vicki! As a fellow Queenslander, I’m totally with you on that one. Turning on the stove or the oven just seems like writing your own death sentence when it feels hot enough to cook an egg on your front steps! 😛 Love the pasta recipe you pulled out of the archives, by the way – it looks so fresh and best of all, oh so simple. I’m all about simple on week nights!

Thanks Lisa, this heat is something else I’m not yet acclimatised from Sydney and it’s knocking me about – apparently only a few weeks of it to go!? Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the shout out on my chicken! I love your picks, I already had my eye on that katsu and I can totally vouch for Kim’s salad, it’s the bomb diggity! Hope you get to chill out this week, in every sense of the word!

Thanks for featuring my pork katsu – that slow cooked lamb looked super good {I just don’t want to have my oven on for that long at the moment – it’s too hot down here in Canberra at the moment}.

I hear you on the no oven front – so hot here it’s debilitating!
