Your Weekly Feed

Does it feel like autumn to you yet (if it is, in fact, Autumn for you, maybe Spring like instead)? No sign of it here but monsoonal rain hit this week giving us a reprieve for one day from temps over 30, it did bring the mozzies out though!!  Your Weekly Feed last week has some fabulous meals and treats linked up that I’m keen to try.  Any take your fancy?

We’ve got some dear friends visiting from Sydney at the moment so we tried out Pretty Wee Things Dragonfruit Smoothie one morning because Dragonfruit is in abundance here at the moment & it’s delicious.  I really recommend you give it a go if you find any near you. We also had to do something to protect ourselves from the mozzies so, as they say when in the tropics, G&T’s are for medicinal purposes, you know the quinine and all that!

Gin your drink of choice?  Do you have a favourite?

While I’m taking a partial break from blogging at the moment I’m still cooking dinners and still loving all the amazing meals linked up in Your Weekly Feed. Tania from My Kitchen Stories introduced me to a food trend I didn’t know about but will definitely be getting into, the Poke Bowl.  Have you heard of them?  How good do her Very Easy Tuna Poke Bowls look?

Jo, from A Country Life Experiment shared her Curried Chicken & Vegetable Pilaf which has gone straight to my meal plan for next week, yum!

I’ve picked this next one from Sammie at The Annoyed Thyroid because it’s Simple. Salmon. Pies!

I know that Kim also has picked some fab meals from last week so please pop on over to Land of Zonkt to check them out. Not food related but Kim also has a fab DIY for some cute earrings too, she is a talented lady!

Now it’s your turn…

I would think something from your drinks trolley is an essential in those tropical temperatures – I’ll have a gin or a vodka, I’m not fussy! Thanks for the shout out on those pies, they look totes fancy, but in actual fact, they’re totes easy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen dragonfruit at the shops, will keep my eyes peeled! Have a great week and thanks for hosting! x

Great picks this week Vicki! I love Sammie’s Salmon especially. You can’t have tonic water without gin I don’t think 🙂
