Your Weekly Feed #41


They want dinner again?  Really?  Sundays seem to come around quickly these days, can you believe that we are in the first week of March and Easter is nearly here?  And they still want dinner every night!!! Just joking but I’m so happy to see all the meals linked up here for inspiration as I don’t know what I’d be doing otherwise.  I’ve been experimenting with making food for dinner that can also go into the lunch boxes because mine refuse sandwiches and the wraps come back uneaten half the time too.  Anyway before we get to my contribution for this week how about last week?  So much yumminess!

I love everything about this “Bridesmaid” Salmon Salad by The Purple Ladle but especially the name.  I think I will do as Jayne says and organise a girls night and make this! Also how lovely are here photo’s btw?


My next pick is this simple side of Coconut Rice by our co-host Kim at Land of Zonkt.  My kids go on and off rice but they are loving coconut rice at the moment so we are on a roll with that.


One of the many things I love about Your Weekly Feed is huge variety of food that gets linked up.  I had never heard of Gochujang until The Spice Adventuress linked up her Vegetable Stir Fry using it.  I have a friend who happens to own a Korean Supermarket so I’m getting myself down to Seoul Mart to get some to try out!


As I said first up I’ve been trying out recipes for dinner that any left overs can go in the lunch box the next day.  My contribution this week are these Honey Mint Lamb Meatballs. (recipe is in the link up below).

    Eeeep, how good do those little meatballs look Vicki! Those carrots and that salad on the side look sooooo good too. Looks like a really healthy and satisfying dinner! I don’t eat lamb but I’ve been meaning to make something similar with chicken lately, although I haven’t got around to it. I wonder what the honey mint combination would taste like with chicken mince? They’d be perfect for lunchboxes the next day too, as you say. Pop those on a wrap with some mayo and lettuce, and I would definitely be looking forward to lunch all day 😉 Thanks for hosting, as always, and I hope you have a wonderful week! x

      Thanks Lisa, let me know if you try with the chicken maybe soy rather than the mint would work well and yes in wraps the next day – so good!!
