Your Weekly Feed # 58

Your Weekly Feed

Happy Friday, I hope it is for you?  School holidays are on full throttle at the moment for us and I seem to be running at full speed not achieving much but it’s nice not to have the daily grind happening even if I am finding myself in the kitchen more than usual! Playing is hungry business! We were delighted with all the yummy contributions from Your Weekly Feed last week to help try out some new things to feed the starving creatures!

As usual, it’s hard to pick just a few meals to highlight but I do love the sound of Plus Ate Sixes Pear, Hazelnut & Chocolate Muffins that also happen to be gluten free.

They should help ward off the “hangry”.

I couldn’t go past Lucy from Bake Play Smile’s Cheesy Chicken & Corn Savoury Rolls, in fact I could inhale some right about now.

We eat lots of frittatas around here as it’s a great way of using up veggies. Good Food Week has shared her version with us that looks definititely achievable.

As it’s Friday how could I not pick one of my favourite cocktails? A Kiwi Country Girl shared her Mojito recipe and it’s got my name on it (well I do live in the tropics after all!).

Now, because I can hear my name being whined for about the thousandth’s (is that a word?) time today I better go but please pop on over to Zonkt Designs to see what Kim has picked for the week and then it’s over to you.

I made your Date and Cranberry loaf this week. It was SO GOOD. I love a loaf. I would happily marry a loaf (as opposed to a loafer, presumably!). Have a good week, Vicki. x

I’m loving the look of those muffins! I’m going to have to give them a try, especially as our school holidays are about to start!! I’ve been making lots and lots of winter warmer foods, as it’s been especially chilly here in WA. My husband loves my Self saucing butterscotch pudding (which would explain why we’ve both put on a couple of extra kg’s- oh dear!) Enjoy your mojito- I’m jealous!! 🙂
