Your Weekly Feed # 80 – Final one for the year

Your Weekly Feed

Hello hello and it’s also good bye but see you soon. This is our final Your Weekly Feed for the year before taking a break over the school holidays and Kim and I are just discussing whether we start it up again next year or not given the direction our other businesses are taking. It’s a case of watch this space at the moment, we are also very open to your feedback.

Because we are taking a break we’d love to see Your Weekly Feed go out with a bang and want you to hit us up with all your Christmas recipe ideas but first I’ve got my top picks from last week for you. BTW it’s just Your Weekly Feed having an indefinite break, Boiled Eggs & Soldiers is still soldiering on if you pardon the pun.

Starting with some healthy choices I love all the flavours in I Spy Plum Pies Sweet Potato & Pomegranate Salad.  Also a big thank you to Lizzie for all her contributions to YWF through out the year and for making Vegetarian meals so yummy.

Good Food Week’s Brown Rice Salad from last week is easy, healthy and tasty.  Shari has been such a big supporter of YWF and has always linked up such diverse and delicious meals. Not only has she just had her third baby and moved to Sydney but she and her husband have also opened up a new business in Bondi called Mr Perkins that I’m keen to check out when we are next there. Busy lady.

Jayne of the Purple Ladle shared a side salad winner with us last week with her Bean & Snow Pea Salad. I have loved all of Jaynes meals that she has linked up and her photography is gorgeous plus she always has a kind comment to make about my recipes too which is lovely. Thanks Jayne.

Our dear friend Sammie of The Annoyed Thyroid has consistently been a big supporter and contributor to Your Weekly Feed and even a guest host. I’m very keen to try out her Yule Loaf before Christmas is done. Thank you for everything Sammie.

My final pick from last week goes to the delightful Lucy from Bake Play Smile who is truly a foodie and blogging inspiration. How could anyone say no to this Bailey Chocolate No Bake Cheesecake?

I couldn’t pick everyones meals from last week but they are all well worth checking out as there was so much yumminess. Much like I can’t mention everyone who has been so wonderfully supportive of Your Weekly Feed but both Kim & I want to thank all of you for tuning in each week or when you can to take a look at and try all the recipes that have been shared over the last year and a bit.  I know that I have been so inspired in the kitchen and tried out so many new meals that are now regularly on rotation at our house.

Our aim was for YWF to be a useful resource to help take the pain out of the mundane in the kitchen and we really hope that you have found it just that.

So enough from me let’s see what you have got for our final week link up and as always I’m very keen to see the non blogger recipes too so feel free to email them in

Such delicious picks – thanks for the salad-spiration! As I said to Kim, I know how precious your time is and that business is booming but I for one will really miss our link up shenanigans. Thanks for hosting the most delicious link up party on the interwebs. See you on the other side xx

I think it’s more that effort that I need to put in to make the business boom but hopefully I’ll still be able to do both as I love the link up too. x
